Future Iterations

Image
My two peers checked my lesson plan and Technology incorporated SAMR. I discovered that a single technical method can be applied to various stages of SAMR. After more consideration, I discovered that I need to incorporate more technical resources into the modification and redefining stages; additionally, I need to focus more on editing and create more collaborative activities for my students. As a student teacher, this will eventually assist me in better understanding my students and their learning styles, allowing me to more effectively incorporate ICT into the classroom.

Peer Assessment Using SAMR

MT Kalappa : "The content looks great. A little more effort on the editing part would be appreciated. A mention of the SAMR review on the blog could have been done. There could have been a mention of the software to be used and made it more specific. The activity can be made collaborative by making each other's assignments visible to all that way it could be identified with the redefinition stage" Sakshi: "The sequence that I'd follow is Powerpoint -Substitution Video - Augmentation.  I'm not very sure of what technological tools you have used for modification and Redefinition. I like the way you have used a very apt video for the learners"

S Substitution PowerPoint to deliver the content A Augmentation Video on “Communicable Diseases and how it is spread”. To have a better understanding of the content to a student experience   M Modification Showed students a picture of different diseases and their symptoms, and students were asked to identify.   R Redefining Homework-Students were asked to write about different diseases spread by microorganism

How SDG4a is addressed in the Lesson and/or Technology?

Sustainable Development Goal 4a is Quality Education which is, “Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all”  Inclusiveness encompasses not only slow learners and special students, but also students who learn in a variety of ways. As a teacher in this generation, my aim is to make learning easier for all students and to provide high-quality education by integrating technology and incorporating a fun aspect into the teaching process. Via a playway method of teaching, Kahoot, e-quiz students engage deeply and focus more, resulting in high-quality education.

Use of Technology in the Classroom (Lesson Teaching)

Image
For students, technology is one of the most important aspects of learning. Children are intrigued by technology and are able to adapt. It facilitates their learning and expands their opportunities. Furthermore, technology can accommodate various learning styles in a classroom and enable students to learn at their own speed. Technology also assists students in their future planning.
